⇒ T1  = (4 x 1 – 10) = -6  and  T2  = (4 x 2 – 10) = -2

Thus, we have

(i) First term = -6

(ii) Common difference  = (T2 – T1) = (-2+6) = 4

(iii) 16th term = a + (16-1) d, where a = -6 and d = 4

= (-6 + 15 x 4) = 54
