2 {tan}^{2} 45 +  {cos}^{2} 30 - sin60

2 {(1)}^{2}  +  { ( \frac{ \sqrt{3}}{2}  )}^{2}  -  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}

2 +  \frac{3}{4}  -  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}  =  \frac{4 + 3 - 2 \sqrt{3}  }{4}

 =  \frac{7 - 2 \sqrt{3} }{2}  \: answer
