HELLO MATE !!!!

GIVEN,

2X +Y = 5

3X+2Y=8 _____________(2)

ACCORDING TO THE PROBLEM,

2X+Y=5

=> Y= 5 - 2X ____________(1)

SUBSTITUTING THE VALUE OF EQUATION 1 IN 2 , WE GET

=> 3X+2(5-2X) = 8

=> 3X + 10 - 4X = 8

=> - X + 10 = 8

=> - X = -10 + 8

=> - X = -2

=> X = 2 ____________(3)

Putting the value of equations 3 in 1 , we get

=> Y = 5 - 2×2

=> Y = 5 - 4

=> Y = 1

Hence, The value of X is 2 whereas the value of Y is 1
