GIVEN :

  • Amount (A) = Rs 14160

  • Rate (R) = 6%

  • Principal (P) = 12000

TO FIND :

  • Time (T) .

FORMULAE REQUIRED :

  • \bigstar{ \underline{\boxed {\purple{ \bf SI = A -P}}}}

  • \bigstar{\underline {\boxed{ \purple{ \bf{T = \dfrac{SI\times 100}{P \times R} }}}}}

SOLUTION :

Substituting the given values in the First Formula :

:\implies{ \sf{SI = A -P}} \\ \\

:\implies{ \sf{SI = 14160 - 12000}} \\ \\

:\implies { \underline{ \boxed{ \bf{SI = Rs\: 2160}}}}

Substituting the given values in the Second formula :

:\implies{\sf{T = \dfrac{SI\times 100}{P \times R} }} \\ \\

:\implies{\sf{T = \dfrac{\cancel{2160}\times \cancel{100}}{\cancel{12000}\times \cancel{6}} }} \\ \\

:\implies{ \underline{ \boxed{ \blue{\bf{T = 3 \: years}}}}}

\huge{\pink{\therefore}} Time = 3 years.
