Radius = 3.5 cm.

Find the shaded area = ?

Area of a Circle = πr²

= 3.14 x (3.5)²

=38.58 cm²

Area of four Circles = 4 x Area of a triangle

= 4 x 38.58

= 154.32 cm²

We know that the distance between point A,B,C,D to it's circumference is 3.5 cm. So , distance between point A to B is 7cm because point A to circumference is 3.5 cm and circumference to point B is 3.5cm.So, distance between A to B is 7cm. And all circles have same radius then AB = BC=CD=DA=7cm.

Area of square = side²

= (7)²

=49cm²

So, shaded area is = Area of four triangle - Area of Square.

=154.32 - 49

=105.32 cm². Answer

So, Shaded area is 105.32cm²
