Answers
Answer:
1.A tropical cyclone is a rapidly rotating storm system characterized by a low-pressure center.
In the Western Pacific, these storms are called typhoons.
2.The eye is an area of calm weather in the center of strong tropical cyclones. The cyclone's lowest barometric pressure occurs in the eye. It is usually circular and range between 30 and 65 km (20 to 40 mi) in diameter, though smaller and larger eyes can occur.
3.The water gives back heat when vapour condenses into liquid and a very low pressure area is created. This is how a thunderstorm becomes a cyclone. Cyclones are produced over the sea in tropical areas when the air is warm and humid.
4.Aside for a “normal” tornado, you have: Multiple vortex – in which two or more columns of spinning air rotate around a common center. This is not a type of satellite tornado, which is a smaller tornado which forms very near a large tornado. Waterspout – a waterspout is officially defined as any tornado over water.thare are 5 types of tornado Rope tornadoes,Cone tornadoes,Wedge tornadoes,Multi-vortex and satellite tornadoes,Waterspouts and landspouts.
5.Avoid areas prone to storm surges and flooding.
Shelter domestic animals.
Secure vehicles.
Those in insecure dwellings, move as early as possible, to cyclone refugee centre with your emergency kit.
Avoid going outside.
Monitor closely cyclone bulletins on Radio/TV.
