Answer :

  • Arun here has used the quantity Weight, which is the product of the mass and the acceleration whereas Varun directly used Mass.

  • Mass is constant and its value doesn't change wherever we take the body but at the same time weight differs as it is dependent on the gravitational Acceleration which varies from place to place \sf .

  • Weight is the force that a body apply on earth. Mass is equal to the inertia of a body (earlier it was considered to be the amount of matter that a body contain).

  • Mass is a scalar quantity wheras weigh is a vector quantity.

Answer:-

»Body weighed by Arun

  1. Arun has used the quantity weight, which is the product of Mass and the Gravitational acceleration.
  2. Mass does not change according to location.
  3. Mass can never be zero(0).
  4. Mass is a scalar quantity. It has magnitude.

»Body weighed by Varun

  1. Varun used the quantity mass.
  2. Weight increases or decreases with higher or lower gravity.
  3. Weight can be zero(0) if no gravity acts upon a object, such as in space.
  4. Weight is a vector quantity. It has magnitude and is directed towards the centre of earth.
