Step-by-step explanation:

i). if sell price is 115 then cost price is 100

if sell price is 1 then cost price is 100/115

if sell price is 9200 then cost price is (100×9200)/115

=Rs. 8000

Ans.8000

ii) a)We know that

Interest = Principal×rate of interest×time

then,

Principal= Interest/rate of interest × time

=2652/(6×0.05) [5/100=5%=0.05]

=8840

b)From (a) we know that Principal = 8840

Interest is doubled so Interest = 5304

Rate of interest = 5% = 0.05

Time = ?

we know,

Interest = Principal × rate of interest× time

or, time= Interest /(Principal×rate of interest)

or, time = 5304 /(8840×0.05)

So, time = 12 years

The answer is correct if Interest is 2652.

There is also a thing like Interest-Principal
