Answer:let the fraction be N/D.

By given condition (1), we have

D= 2N-4..........(1)

By given condition (2) , we have

(N-6)/(D-6) =N/12N

=1/12

Or, 12(N-6) =D-6.......(3)

12N-72= (2N-4)-6......using equn (1)

12N-72= -12N+24

(12+12)N= 24+72

24N= 96

Therefore,N = 96/24=4.

Now, D = 2N-4= 2*4-4= 4.

So, required fraction (N/D) is 1/1.
