Firstly let assume that t = an

we know that we have the formula

an= a+(n-1)d

now here,

an=96

a(first term ) =12

d(common difference) =4

Now substitue the values in the above equation,

i.e.., an=a+(n-1)d

96=12+(n-1)4

96=12+(4n-4)

96-12=4n-4

84= 4n-4

84 - 4 =4n

80= 4n

4n=80

n=80/4

therefore n=20

I think you may understand this!!!!!
