Answer:

(a) It just said many of the substances that are hygroscopic are also useful as drying agents. Calcium chloride is deliquescent (hygriscopic to the point that it forms a liquid) and calcium sulfate hemihydrate is hygroscopic (stays solid but still absorbs water) and both can be used as drying agents for most solvents.

(b) Because of the presence of MgCl2 in sodium chloride(common/table salt), it becomes wet. In Rainy Season high moisture present in air so common salt absorb water from air and it become wet Other Salt Effects Small mangoes put in salt shrink as its water content is absorbed by salt.

(c) Solute is a substance that gets dissolved in the solvent. Since it is dissolved in the solvent, it cannot be separated by filtration.

(d) Hello Dear. ↔ ⇒ It tells the Mass, Volume, and the Physical State of the Reactants and Products of the Reactions. This helps in Controlling the Equations and knowing various Things which can be further used. ↔ ⇒ It also tells the Number of atoms, Molecules of Each types of Elements , and Compound in the Reaction.

(e) The silver nitrate reacts with atmospheric energy provided by sunlight if kept in a transparent bottle and get decomposed to silver oxide Ag2O so, the silver nitrate is kept in colored bottle.
