ii) How does the amount of heat produced in wire increases?

Answer:

Heat is produced by the resistance of the wire. Resistance is directly proportional to length of conductor and inversely proportional to area of cross-section. Which means heat produced increases when length of wire increases and thibkness of wire decreases.
