(ii) If x=2⅓+2⅔ +2 then prove that x³ - 6x² + 6x - 2 = 0

=>x=2+2⅔+2⅓

=>x-2=2⅔+2⅓. ......(equ 1)

cubing both sides

=>(x-2)³=(2⅔+2⅓)³

=>x³-8-3.2x(x-2) = (2⅔)³+(2⅓)³+3.2⅔.2⅓(2⅔+2⅓)

=>x³-8-6x(x-2) = (2)²+(2)¹+3.2^(⅔+⅓)(2⅔+2⅓)

=>x³-8-6x(x-2) = 4+2+3.2¹(2⅔+2⅓)

=>x³-8-6x²+12=6+6(x-2). ..(from equ 1.)

=>x³-6x²+4=6+6x-12

=>x³-6x²-6x-2=0
