Question :

In an isosceles triangle each base angle is 30° greater than the vertical angle. Find the measure

of all the three angles

Solution :

Let us consider angle a be x , so angle b = x+30 and angle c = x+30

But we know that angle sum property of traingle is 180

So , ∠A+∠B+∠C =180

putting value of ∠A , ∠B, ∠C

So we will get

x+x+30+x+30=180

3x+60=180

3x=180-60

3x= 120

x=120/3

x=40

So A = 40

B=70

C=70
