Answer:

Yes air is compressible

We know air is a combination of different gases, and we already know that gases are compressible fluids

Here is a little experiment to show that gases are compressible

Take a piston and a beaker fill the beaker with some gas remember gas has free molecules with lots of space between them, now put the piston and try to push it down feel like the the space is reduced???there it is the gas is compressed the molecules which are scattered not are compressed hence gases are compressible.

Yes, gas is compressible. By increasing pressure on the gas, we can decrease the intermolecular spaces between the molecules of the gas, thereby compressing the gas. The temperature is a key factor in the compression, because the increasing pressure produces friction, which increases the temperature, and thus causing particles to move further away. Therefore, when compressing a gas, temperature of the surroundings is also decreased to a very low extent.
A common example of a compressed gas is dry ice. It is carbon dioxide compressed to a solid state, but stays in the solid state as long as the high pressure and low temperature is maintained.
