•यह व्यापार के ऑनलाइन लेन देन की प्रक्रिया है।

•इसमें ग्राहक और विक्रेता विभिन्न भौगोलिक स्थानों  जो इंटरनेट से जुड़े रहते है, पर बैठकर व्यापार या लेन देन करते है।

• ग्राहक को तपती गर्मी या भारी वर्षा में बाहर कई दुकानों में धक्के खाने की आवश्यकता नहीं होती  हैं, वह घर पर बैठकर खरीदारी कर सकता है।
