- The pulicat lake is a brackish water lagoon only after chilka lake and has a length of 759 km sq. It's the most important wetland of the Tirupati region. Its fed by the arani river.
- Kolleru lake is one of the largest freshwater lake located in Andhra Pradesh and forms the largest freshwater shallow lakes in Asia, lake falls under Ramnagar convection and is fed by Budameru and Tammileru streams.
