Answer:

\huge\boxed{\fcolorbox{red}{cyan}{I found this just for you}}

first no. = x = 16

Second no. = x + 8 = 24

Equation formed :

x+8 = ( x ÷ 2) *3

(x +8) / 3 = x/2

2(x + 8) = 3x

2x + 16= 3x

3x - 2x = 16

x = 16

Hope it helps you !

Answer:

Let the greater number be a.

Let the smaller number be b.

we know ,

A.T.Q,

a= b + 8 - equation 1

it is also said that,

a= 3 × b / 2

=) b+ 8 = 3 × b/ 2 (things equal to the same thing are equal to each other)

=) 2 (b + 8) = 3b ( transposing 2 from L.H.S to R.H.S )

=) 2b + 16 = 3b

=) 16 = 3b- 2b ( transposing 2b from L.H.S to R.H.S)

=) b= 16

therefore the smaller number is 16

we know ,

a = b+ 8

=) a = 16 + 8 ( substituting value of b in equation 1 )

=) a = 24

therefore the greater number is 24

therefore the numbers are 24 and 16

therefore, option "d" is the correct answer of the question.....
