Answer:

60,80

Step-by-step explanation:

let speed of train be' a' km/hr & of car it be 'b 'km/hr

120/a + 480/b = 8

15/a + 60/b = 1

200/a + 400/b = 8+ 20/60 = 25/3

8/a + 16/b = 1/3

/a + /b = 1 ,let 1/a = x & 1/b = y

15x + 60y = 1 --(1) , 8x + 16y = 1/3 --(2)

multiply eq. (1) by 15 & (2) by 8

120x + 480y = 8 , 120x + 240y = 5

on subtracting , we get

240y = 3 => y = 1/80 & x = 1/60

1/b=1/80 =>b = 80 km/hr (car),

& 1/a = 1/60 => a = 60 km/hr (train)
