Sometimes when the day is bad
And someone's made me very sad
Or I've been given angry stares
I go behind the front porch stairs.
There , curled up with chin on knee
I like to be alone with m
And listen to people talk
And hurry by me on the walk.
There I sit without a sound
And draw stick picture on the ground.
If I should tire of it all,
I throw some pebbles at the wall.
After I've been there a while
And find that I can almost smile,
I brush me off and count to ten
And try to start the day again.
