LET THE WIDTH BE X.THEN LENGTH WILL BE 3X.

PETIMETER=2(L+B)

48=2(3x+x)

48/2=4x

24/4=x

6=x

therefore,

WIDTH=6m

LENGTH=(3 × 6)m

=18m

AREA=LENGTH×BREADTH

=(6×18)m²

=108m²

ANSWER:–

WIDTH=6m

LENGTH=18m

AREA=108m²
