x + 2y = -5———equation 1
-3x - 6y = -1 ————equation 2

Multiplying equation 1 by 3
3x + 6y = -15 ——— equation 3

Sub 1 and 3
direct answer :-12y =14
y= 14/12
y=7/6

Substitute y=7/6 in equation 1
x+2y =-5
x + 2 * 7/6 = -5
x+2*7 = -5 -6
x + 14 = -11
x=-11 - 14
x = -25

Answer is (x,y)
Answer is (7/6,-25)
