Answer:

Let integers be n and (n+1)

n(n+1)=306

n²+n−306=0

(n+17)(n−16)=0

Therefore, n=16 and integers are 16 and 17.

ANSWER

Let first integer be x

second integer be x+1

now solve

x(x + 1) = 306

 {x}^{2}  + x - 306 = 0

 {x}^{2}  + 18x - 17x - 306 = 0

x(x + 18) - 17(x + 18) = 0

(x - 17)(x + 18) = 0

x = 17 \: and \: x =  - 18

we take +ve value as product is given in positive.

hence, first integer be 17

second integer be x+1 =18

Hope it helps you
