Answer:

On what level do bees think?

Which is the best cement for building your home?

As a beekeeper , when the Borg came to the fore , I started to notice terms like the ‘hive mind’ , and others that I see in my bee hives . The complex workings in the hive take a ‘hive mind’ to accomplish tasks , cause some things they start to build being pasted on to other bees as the first bee moves on to other tasks in or out of the hive. There are responses to different ‘triggers’ [sounds , smells , and scents and sights ] that are met with a propose of work ,or defense ,or traveling to eve how to deal with the sick or dying and dead , but these are not in their mind or on that level as an individual but as a Borg drone ,mindless slave to the needs of the colony . It doesn’t notice you until you trigger a cause to respond . Your not all that important to take notice of outside of those built in triggers . For sometimes in my visits to a new hive , I take note of their either intent toward me or not and adjust my presence accordingly and can be deep in their ‘hive’ and allowed to study and hear their needs and understand their responses .
