ii) What is the work to be done to increase the velocity of a car from 72 km/h to 90 km/h
if the mass of the car is 1800 Kg.

u=72

v=90

m=1800

work = force x displacement

f=m x a

=1800 x (72+90/2)

=1800 x 81

= 145800 N

v²-u²=2as

8100-5184=2 x 81x s

s= 18

w=f x s

145800 x 18

work done=2624400 J
