Subject: Hobby as part of curriculum

Sir:

I am writing this letter to express my views about including hobbies in school curriculum. Each student has one hobby or another. Usually, children spend lots of time on these hobbies. It could be music, dancing, computers, and many more.

I strongly feel these hobbies should be included in the school curriculum to promote excellence and perfection in them. Children’s creativity is boundless, but it needs recognition and encouragement. By including them in the curriculum, the required impetus can be given.

Besides, this will keep the children creatively engaged, instead of wasting their time on TV and video games.

I appeal to the concerned authorities to look into it and do the needful.

Yours truly,

Keshav
