Sub: Scarcity of water in my locality

Respected ma'am,

I am Karuna, resident of A-20, Sector 4, Ranchi. I am writing a letter after concerned steps by writing letter to Corporation, no action has been taken.

So, as the summers are approaching, we always face water scarcity, but this year we are facing it, too early. We cannot get water everytime and need to save it, although we try it every year, the Corporation hasn't responded about the same yet. I think, separate water systems should be set up, so that when water comes, extra storage tanks can give us water. And, river water should be filtered if a distillation factory is set up.

I hope my letter will be posted in esteemed columns so that sleeping authorities can help us doing so.

Sir

Through your News paper, I wish to raise my voice against the scarcity of water.

The lack of water supply is causing much trouble to the locality. The supply we is not only short but also highly irregular We do not know when we get the water when the water stops

It has also affected the supply of electricity. If there is no supply of water there is no electricity either. The local electricity board also depends on the supply of water.

Taps go dry even during the morning hours. It has put the residents to great inconvenience. many people must go out without taking a bath the school children are suffering a lot.

And what about the plants and trees? We could not water the plants and trees all the plants are getting dry and dying. without trees there is no rain.

Tube-wells should dug in the locality, built dams, practising rain water harvesting,Water metres should be installed at all houses to stop scarcity of water.

This can improve the condition of water supply in the locality. I appeal to the authorities to stop scarcity of water supply in our locality
