Understanding the question as 2^{2x+1} = 4^{2x-1}2

2x+1

=4

2x−1

⇒2^{2x+1} = 2^{2*(2x-1)}2

2x+1

=2

2∗(2x−1)

⇒2^{2x+1} = 2^{4x-2}2

2x+1

=2

4x−2

Since bases are equal powers are also equal

⇒2x+1 = 4x-2

⇒ 3 = 4x - 2x

⇒ 2x = 3

⇒ x = 3/2
