Step-by-step explanation:

first we convert x+a in the form x-@.

f(x)=2x3+5x2-28x-15

g(x)=x-(-5)

when we divide f(x) by g(x) then by remainder theorem

r=f(-5)

=2(-5)3+5(-5)2-(28*-5)-(15)

=-250+125+ 14 0-15

=0

since,r=0 then by factor theorem

(x+5) is a factor of 2x3+5x2-28x-15.

then divide f(x) by g(x).

then we get 2x2-5x-3
