 \frac{ \sqrt{2} + 1 }{ \sqrt{5} }  \\  \\  \\  =  \frac{( \sqrt{2} + 1)( \sqrt{5)}  }{ \sqrt{5} \times  \sqrt{5}  }  \\  \\  \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{10}  +  \sqrt{5} }{5}  \\  \\  \\  =  \frac{3.162 + 2.236}{5}  \\  \\  \\  =  \frac{5.893}{5}  \\  \\  \\  = 1.138

3.162/2.236=1.141+1/2.236

=1.861
