Correct question:

If a car travels 60 km in an hour,how far it will travel in 2 hours,15min,30min and 3 and a half hour?

Answers:

  • It will travel 120km/h in 2 hour.
  • It will travel 15km/h in 15 min.
  • It will travel 30 km in 30min.
  • It will travel 210 km/h in 3.5 hour.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • Distance covered by the car in one hour =60km/h.

Need to find:

  • Distance it will travel in 2 hours,15min,30min and 3 and a half hour

Explanation:

Speed of the car = Distance/time

=> 60km/1hour

=> 60km/h

Therefore,

Distance it will travel in 2 hour = 2×60km/h

=> 120km/h

Distance it will travel in 15min(0.25hour) = 0.25×60km/h

=> 15km/h

Distance it will travel in 30min(0.5hour) = 0.5×60km/h

=> 30km/h

Distance it will travel in 3.5 hour = 3.5×60km/h

=> 210km/h

AnsWer:-

Distance covered by car = 60 Km

 Time taken = 1 hr

Thus Speed of Car     u = Distance/ Time

                                        = 60 Km/hr

Thus

for time = 2 hr 15 min

             = 2 + 0.25

             = 2.25 Hr

Distance = u *  Time

              = 60 * 2.25

             = 135 Km

for Time = 0.5 Hr

Distance = 60 * 0.5

                = 30 Km

Time = 3.50 Hr

Distance = 60 * 3.5

               = 210 Km
