(x+a) (x-b) = X Square + (a-b)x - ab

(3x + 2) (3x - 5) = 9x^2 + (2-5)x - 10

(3x + 2) (3x - 5) = 6x^2 + 6x - 15x - 10

(3x + 2) (3x - 5) = 6x^2 - 9x - 10

2nd step :

= (3x + 2) (3x - 5)

= 3x(3x+2) -5(3x+2)

= 9x^2 + 6x - 15x - 10

= 9x^2 - 9x - 10

Hope it helps you....☺☺
