Explanation:

1)-A constitution does many things to make a country a democratic one : (i) It generates a degree of trust and coordination that is necessary for different kind of people to live together. (ii) It specifies how the government will be constituted and who will have the power of taking which decisions

2)-The makers of the Indian constitution had anxieties because making of the constitution for a huge and diverse country like India was not an easy affair. The country was born through partition on the basis of religious differences

3)-The constituent assembly worked very systematically while making a constitution for India. There were 299 members in this assembly. The drafting committee was headed by Dr B R Ambedkar. Everything was written and recorded which was spoken and discussed by the members

4)-Freedom and power bring responsibility. The responsibility rests upon this Assembly, a sovereign body representing the sovereign people of India. Before the birth of freedom, we have endured all the pains of labour and our hearts are heavy with the memory of this sorrow. Some of those pains continue even now.The meaning of the Jawaharlal Nehru's statement “Freedom and power brings responsibility” is that freedom denotes that you are responsibility for each and every step of yours. Your deeds will bring you consequences and for these you cannot hold responsible for anyone else but you.

5)-The word 'secular' was incorporated in the Preamble by the 42nd Constitutional Amendment in 1976. The term 'secular' in the constitution of India means that all the religions in India get equal respect, protection and support from the state.

hope this helps you
