Why is the part of the leaf which was covered with the
black paper in picture A, white in picture B and rest of the
leaf is bluish-black?​

i) The aim of the experiment is to show the importance of light in photosynthesis.

ii) The black paper is used to absorb all light that the leaf do not get any sunlight.

iii)White colour shows the absence of starch.
