The Sexual reproduction of  flowering plants involves the transfer of the male gametes to the female ovules and this is a process called as pollination.

After pollination occurs, fertilization happens and then the ovary of the flower swells up and the ovules grow into seeds to form the fruit and the ova form the seeds of the fruit is also grown.
