→ a₂ = 38

→ a + d = 38

→ a = 38 - d ........ eq 1

→ a₆ = - 22

→ a + 5d = - 22

Put value of a from eq 1

→ 38 - d + 5d = - 22

→ 4d = - 60

→ d = - 60/4

→ d = - 15

put value of d in eq 1 to find a

→ a = 38 - ( - 15 )

→ a = 38 + 15

→ a = 53

Now

→ a₂₀ = a + 19d

→ a₂₀ = 53 + 19 × ( - 15 )

→ a₂₀ = 53 - 285

→ a₂₀ = - 232
