Shamsuddin Iltutmish was a major ruler of Shamsi forest in the Delhi Sultanate . He was one of the rulers who strengthened the foundations of the Delhi Sultanate after the Turkish-state founder Qutub-ud-Din Aibak . He was also the son-in-law of Aibak.
