Answer:

According to a new study, watching television too much increases the risk of dying at an earlier age, especially from heart disease. This research says that every hour you spend in front of the television increases the risk of dying from heart disease by 18 percent and increases the overall risk of death by 11 percent. TV exposes a kid to negative influences, and promotes negative behavior. TV shows and commercials usually show violence, alcohol, drug use and sex in a positive light. The mind of a kid is like clay. Watching too much television might also lead to more aggressive behavior.  Watching too much television might also actually change your brain in negative ways. People who watch too much television run the risk that their brains will get used to overstimulation from the rapid pace of the shows they watch.
