They give us a vivid account of Akbar's life . First part of Akbarnama tells us about Akbar's ancestors and second part tells us about Akbar's reign . Concluding the portion known as Ain-i-Akbari which also throws light on the administration and revenue system of the country...

Akbarnama- The original copy of the rare heritage Akbarnama and the Shahnama of Firdausi, associated with the biography of Mughal emperor Akbar and auctioned on 9 April 2014.

Ain-i-akbari- Ain-i-Ekbari (meaning: Institution of Akbar), is a 16th century detailed text. It was composed by Abul Fazal, a Navratan courtier of Akbar. It discusses Akbar's court, his administration.
