The are different articles in Indian Constitution which are directly or indirectly related to the right to equality.

The Constitution of India contains Six fundamental rights and one of them is Right To Equality (Articles 14-18). So the important articles which are directly related to right to equality are as :

1. Article 14 : It states right to equality before law and equal protection of law.

2. Article 15 : Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of creed, color, gender, religion or place of birth.

3.  Article 16 : Equality of opportunity in public employment.

4. Article 17 : Untouchability is abolished and prohibited and its practice is an offence and punishable under law.

5.  Article 18 : Abolition of titles except military or academic titles.
