Step-by-step explanation:

in ∆ BOC, cos |BOC = OC/OB

=> 4/10 = 2/5

therefore |BOC = arccos 2/5 = 66.4°

=> |AOC = 2×66.4 = 132.8°

length of arc AC = (2πr×132.8)/360

=> (2×22/7×4×132.8)/360

=> 9.274 cm

[ length of arc of a circle = (2πrΘ)/360° where Θ is the angle subtended by tne arc at the centre ]

now length of arc ADC = circumference - arc AC

=> 2×22/7×4 -9.274

=> 25.143 - 9.274

=> 15.869 cm

=> 15.9 cm ( rounded off to 3 significant figures )
