im having trouble to figure this problem out so can someone please help me?!

In the first step (7^x)⁴ becomes 7^4x as the power inside gets multiplied by the power outside the bracket.
In the second step when the bases are the same the powers get added if the operation is of multiplication.
In the third step is the bases are the same, in this case it is 7, the powers gets subtracted if the operation is of division.
Finally the powers get equated if the bases are the same and then we solve for x.
