Answer :-

975 N

Given :-

  • Mass of the car is 650 kg
  • Initial velocity of the car is 10 m/s
  • Final velocity of the car is 100 m/s
  • Time taken of the car is 60s

To find :-

  • Force acting on the body

Solution:-

We have formula to find the force acting on the body that is

✪F = mass × acceleration

But they not given the acceleration of the body . Firstly, we calculate acceleration of the body

We have formula to find the acceleration that is

✪Acceleration = Change in velocity / Time

Acceleration = Final velocity - Initial velocity /Time

✪a = v- u /t

Substituting the values ,

a = 100- 10/ 60

a = 90/60

a = 9/6

✪a = 3/2 m/s²

So, acceleration of the body is 3/2 m/s²

Now force acting on the body =

F = m × a

F = 650 × 3/2

F = 1950/2

F = 975 N

So, force acting on the body is 975N

Know more some formulae :-

☆ S= ut+½at²

☆S = vt- ½at²

☆ v = u+ at

☆u = v-at

☆ v²-u² = 2as

☆v²-u²/2s = a

☆v²-u²/2a = s

where,

  • s = Distance covered
  • v = final velocity
  • u = initial velocity
  • t = time taken
  • a = accelartion

Answer:

  • 975 N

Explanation:

Given:

  • Mass of the car = 650 kg
  • Initial velocity = 10 m/s
  • Final velocity = 100 m/s
  • Time taken = 60s

Tofind :

  • Force acting on the body

Calculation:

• a = v- u /t

>> a = 100- 10/ 60

>> a = 90/60

>> a = 3/2 m/s²

• F = m × a

>> F = 650 × 3/2

>> F = 1950/2

>> F = 975 N

Hence, force acting on the body = 975N
