image formed by a plane mirror is virtual and erect (behind the mirror)

explanation -

A plane mirror always forms an image which is virtual in nature (meaning that light rays meet behind the mirror or that light rays do not actually come from the image), erect and of the same shape and size as that of the object, it is reflecting.

Hi mate

. A plane mirror always forms a virtual image (behind the mirror). The image and object are the same distance from a flat mirror, the image size is the same as the object size, and the image is upright.
