i went to the palace of battenburg. the captain of guards didn't allow me to enter the palace because i and my donkey,jeff looked like skeleton .i said him iam a flemish painter and he allowed me to enter . i showed my painting and the archduke made me his court painter. He asked me to paint his portrait and decided to paint all the courtiers as per my request.I decided not to paint the portrait because i will be killed if i paint it.
