hi good morning

Microbes are tiny living things that are found all around us and are too small to be seen by the naked eye. They live in water, soil, and in the air. The human body is home to millions of these microbes too, also called microorganisms. Some microbes make us sick, others are important for our health.

Story of a student walking

with friendly microbes is given below :

  • During biology period in a school, two

students, Amit and Anju, were discussing about microbes. Anju said, "All the microbes are very harmful to us. They cause many diseases like tuberculosis, typhoid, fever, etc. The microbes are very bad." Amit said, "Yes, all the microbes should get extinct."

After some time, they were going home. Amit went in the right direction and Anju to the left. As Anju was walking, she heard someone calling her. She turned around but didn't notice anybody. Again she heard that someone was calling her name. She was shocked to notice that some microbes were calling her.

The microbes said, "Hi Anju! Don't be afraid. We came to you just to clear your and your friend's misunderstanding. All microbes are not bad. Many are useful too. For example : Lactobacillus is very useful in making curd from milk."

Anju replied, "Thank you microbes for clarifying me about the microbes'.
