This black and white photograph of my grandparents reminds me of them. They had shown me this picture before. I was about 8 years old.

My grandma told me that this was from my dad's first birthday. My father was their first child. Everyone was really excited about his first birthday. My grandparents arranged a small intimate birthday party where only family members were invited.

I could see the happiness on their face. They were holding my father and both of them were kissing on his cheeks. I could see the decorated room and the cake.

Now that my grandparents are not with us. This picture always reminds me of how loving and caring they were.
