• The gold and platinum metals are well known for its high value and usage for making ornaments. It they start to corrode then they will be no longer praised as a good aspect for investing great amount of money, and their usage for making ornaments will be also reduced, due to lack of durability.
• Gold and platinum are also used in the electronics. If they tend to corrode, then their usage in the electronics will be also reduced because the main reason behind the usage of gold, platinum in electronics is their corrosion resistance nature.
