1. If oil supplies get exhausted, this will affect our life-style significantly because in such a situation the machines, vehicles, railways etc. could not be run.

2. People would not be able to go from one place to another as they can go now.

3. Many of our activities depend on petroleum products like patrol, diesel, LPG, CNG etc. People may be confined to smaller places as in the ancient world.

4. However, as the scientists are doing research to find out alternative source of energy, it is hoped that they would be successful in their efforts.

5. They may be able to use solar or wind energy in place of petroleum products and in that case, if the oil supplies get exhausted, it would not make any difference in our lives. Perhaps, life would become better in future.

Explanation:

Once oil runs out, that means that all shipping has ceased (boat, truck and train). No products get anywhere, food rots in the field, medical and industrial byproducts of petroleum can’t be manufactured, petrol-based fuel shortages prevent anyone from getting anywhere whether by plane, train or automobile. Assuming that when you say oil, you also mean natural gas, electricity generation is severely hampered and if you meant “fossil fuels” then that also includes coal and with that most of every country goes dark.

Some small groups of people would survive. We would regress back two to three centuries and almost all of our modern way of life would be destroyed.

So the short answer is, it depends on when we run out of oil. If it’s soon, like within decades, then billions of people die. If it’s at least a century or two then we might not even notice.

But, you can take solace in knowing that we are nowhere near close to running out of oil.

And for the POSTER I think u can make it yourself.

Thanks!!!
