imagine if you are a stone to one end of a string take another end in your hand and rotate the string in circular path now answer the question
1. which force act on a Stone?
2. if you release a Stone from string,what is a direction of Stone?

1) Centrifugal force and centripetal force acts on stone.

Centrifugal force: a force, arising from the body's inertia, which appears to act on a body moving in a circular path and is directed away from the centre around which the body is moving.

Centripetal force: a force that acts on a body moving in a circular path and is directed towards the centre around which the body is moving.

2)It will move along tangent at that instant.

the direction of velocity at a point is always along the  tangent at that point. If string breaks, then the centripetal force acting on the stone becomes zero and it will move along a straight line tangential to the circular path.
